Erik ten Hag breaks silence on Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit from Manchester United

The manager of Manchester United has made his first media appearance since the team released Cristiano Ronaldo.

Erik ten Hag responded bluntly to a question about Cristiano Ronaldo, who left Manchester United, in his first interview about the Portuguese superstar’s departure.

Following an explosive interview he gave to Piers Morgan in which he criticized Ten Hag, the Glazers, and the club in general, Ronaldo’s contract was terminated by United last month.

Ronaldo had signed a two-year deal with United with an option for a third year in August 2021, but his second stay in Manchester only lasted 15 months.

In preparation for the start of the season in two weeks, Ten Hag is currently in Andalusia for a warm-weather training camp with a impromptu United team.

The Dutchman was questioned about Ronaldo’s interview because it was also the first time he had spoken to the media since then.
